Spanish Moth by B. J. Winchester

(And not the stuff that grows on trees in Castile)

The beauty of the moth is itself the inspiration. It is exotic, feminine and striking in color…I just can’t take my eyes off of it. I saw one on a wall outside of the supermarket and made one of the clerks from the store come back out to view it to make sure I wasn’t imagining such a beautiful creature. It was an unforgettable moment the first time I saw one.
